The Marian Hermit of Jesus
Hi, my name is, Mary.
I follow Jesus along the eremitic path of a hermit, offering my life to Him in solitude and prayer. Along this path, I encounter Jesus through Mary in the ordinary everyday moments of life. This website is a space to share my reflections and to invite you to reflect on your calling in life too.
Mission and Vision
My mission is to open hearts to the joy of conversing with Jesus through Mary and to inspire a life that is centered around the Loving Mercy of God. I envision a supportive community dedicated to contemplating the mysteries of God in the company of Mary the Mother of Jesus, individuals who seek to pray and live the words of the “Our Father” in their daily lives.
Our Philosophy
We believe in the transformative power of Jesus Christ in our lives and our world. Through prayer, fasting, solitude and the silent example of our Mother Mary who was the first among believers, we follow the Good News or Gospel of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.Through the light of Mary’s Motherly, Triumphant, Immaculate Heart, we seek to reflect the Infinitely Merciful, Transformative Love of Jesus Christ in a world so badly in need of His Forgiveness and Love. “Peace be with you” he said, “My Peace I give You” – In the hustle and bustle of modern life, this site offers a sacred space in which we are reminded to cultivate inner peace. A sacred space that helps uplift the heart and soul from the busy chaos of the world and invites us to ponder the mysteries of God. A well of Grace to draw from as we travel along a path of Reflection and Prayer, alone with God, in the silence of the heart. This is not an escape from the world, but rather is as essential to us as the air we breathe- for it is only by placing God first in our lives, as Mary His Mother did, that we truly enjoy our lives.
Our Community
Our Community is made up of individuals who seek to follow Jesus through Mary while remaining in their own homes. Each person is called by God to follow in the footsteps of Jesus spreading His Gospel. His call is not a call that isolates the sick and the disabled -through this community, Jesus extends a special welcome and calling to those who are sick and disabled or home bound, to come follow Him. Each offering you make, big or small, is treasured here. Diverse, inclusive, and welcoming, we embrace individuals from all walks of life, baptized and non baptized alike. Anyone seeking Jesus is welcome here. All who bring their unique gifts and experiences to offer to Jesus through Mary are welcome. Through prayer we support each other in Christ and grow together in Him. Together in Christ, we progress and grow in holiness, through Him,with Him and in Him, along our spiritual journeys . You can begin to follow this path with us by simply desiring to encounter Jesus, or by renewing your commitment to Jesus through Mary. Whether getting to know Jesus for the very first time or getting to know Him better, you are welcome. Our community offers and consecrates all to Jesus through Mary. If you feel called to make a deeper commitment follow Jesus as a Marian hermit of Jesus, while praying, working and living in your own home and community, and need a little help, advice and formation, please do not hesitate to contact me.
